Our Lady came to Fatima to save the souls of her children from hell in the eternal order, & to bring peace to their world in the temporal. The core of her message can be expressed in three simple sentences:

1. Addressing the eternal order, she told us that hell exists and that souls are being lost to it because there is no one to make reparation for their sins.

2. Speaking of the temporal, she said that war is a consequence of sin.

3. The salvation of souls and the attainment of world peace require the conversion of sinners.

“People must stop offending God because He is already so much offended.”

News and Announcements

The Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima, Archdiocese of Los Angeles Division, by it’s affiliation with the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA, by a decree from the Vatican, is a public association of the faithful and is the official voice of the Message of Fatima for the catholic church. Our mission, as stated in the decree is:

  •  To promote the authentic teaching of the Roman Catholic Church and the strict adherence to the tenets of     the Gospel;

  •  the personal sanctification of adherents through faithful adherence to the Message of Fatima;

  •   and the promotion of the common good by the spreading of that Message of Fátima.

In the apparitions of 1917, the Blessed Virgin reaffirmed to the three little shepherd children; Venerable Lucia dos Santos, St. Francisco and St. Jacinta Marto- the perennial Christian message of conversion, prayer and penance in reparation for sins and for the conversion of sinners, together with a more genuine devotion to the Eucharist, the
devotion to the Rosary and the consecration to her Immaculate Heart.

At the same time, the Blue Army has the specific purpose of promoting the Pledge given by each member of the World Apostolate of Fatima. Click here https://www.bluearmy.com/about-fatima/ for more information.

The Blue Army’s Pilgrim Virgin Statue for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles was carved by Boaventura Pereira de Matos, an apprentice of José Ferreira Thedim, the creator of the original statue of Our Lady of Fátima that is venerated at the Shrine of Fátima, Portugal. It was blessed by Archbishop Gomez May 14, 2017. It tours each of the 5 pastoral regions from May through October annually. Please check Tour Schedule or send an email to info@bluearmyla.com is you would like to inquire about scheduling a parish visit.

December 02, 2015

Archbishop José H. Gomez has appointed Msgr. Timothy O’Connell as spiritual director of the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima, Los Angeles Archdiocesan Division. Msgr. O’Connell will begin his new role in January.

The Los Angeles Marian group plans to renew and develop its programs, including a new Fatima Youth program that is currently in development. The group helps to spread the message of Fatima and its devotions, hosts Pilgrim Virgin statue tours and encourages total consecration to Jesus through Mary, among many other initiatives.

As part of the reforms, representatives from each pastoral region in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles were selected as members of the group’s new leadership team on Oct. 31 in Torrance. Each member is a faithful member of the Church and has a great devotion to Our Lady of Fatima.

An affiliation of the World Apostolate of Fatima USA; the Los Angeles Division is recognized, by the Catholic Church, as a Public Association of the Faithful.
